Review
This is the only worthwhile guide to climbing in Cheddar Gorge. It is definitive and written by Martin Crocker who conceived and executed The Cheddar Gorge Climbing Project from autumn 2003 to spring 2005.
The guide is modern, full colour with good photos of crags and routes. It describes the complex access situation and details a large number of trad and sport routes in the gorge.
The primary issue with the guide is that the binding isn't very good and the front cover will fall off almost immediately with all the pages following shortly afterwards unless you treat it carefully. Despite that, it's a must have if you want to climb in the gorge.
Somerset crags | # climbs | Rocktype | Faces |
