Am looking to buy this boot (gaitered version) for alpine stuff in summer.

How is the fit?  In particular, I have wide forefoot with high arch, I tend to fit Scarps well.

Is it narrow/low volume euro fit in the toe box or more relaxed/wider/higher?

How does the fit compare to Scarpa Phantom Tech?

I haven’t tried the Scarpa, but I find the Top’s toe box to be fairly roomy.  Trango Cubes pinched my toes, the Tops are rather confortable, wider for sure.

I have the Top and the Phantom Tech, both in a 43. Both great boots. Both feel like the same length and the Tops feel a little narrower. The Phantom gives me room for thicker socks, 

So, yes, the Top is a little tighter, but not a lot.

I can't compare with specific Scarpa but the Aequilibrium is definitely tight over the forefoot. I also get some heel rubbing if I tighten them enough to prevent heel lift (I don't have a prominent heel).
