One of the last great grit roofs to be climbed...in someones garden!! © Simon
Stone Edge gives quick-drying, sheltered, south-facing climbing: ideal for a quick fix. Further up the track the large quarry is very disappointing.
Further along the B-road is one of the largest gritstone roofs in the Peak.
Good topo here.
The crag is situated just above the B5057 Darley road, about a hundred metres from the junction with the A632. The best approach is to walk to the road junction and take a well trodden path into the woods over the back of the main crag. Do not jump the gate/fence by the parking spot.
Just my opinion though. Would benefit from more traffic as rock was dirty on my visit. I'll give it another go at some point. Fraser kid - 27/Feb/19 |

I think the write up is slightly misleading. Except for one problem I thought it was pretty poor bouldering. Greasy, green and mostly poor rock quality. Fraser kid - 27/Feb/19 |
