A large quarry containing thre main climbing areas of differing height and quality. A huge central area (45m) is of interest since it contains some of the longest sport climbs in the country, ( e.g. Too Monstosity, 7a, 18 clips) although the rock is still in need of more traffic! Either side of this are smaller walls of more solid (but dusty) rock offering a range of climbs in the middle grades (f6 to f7).
NOT ALLOWED. There is a big fence in the way and there is some activity on the area above the quarry which means that it is not always deserted in the week. Discretion is recommended.
The landowner does not permit climbing on this site and all details are recorded to preserve the historical record. If you do choose to climb here, keep a low profile. If your presence is challenged, remain polite and respectful and if asked to leave, then do so.
