The Litledalen valley. Here there be monsters. You needn't know more than that. Some of the worlds biggest unclimbed ice and mixed lines reside in this valley. Home to the monster classic Tågbekken and Dalanebbekken, expect wild conditions and serious commitment.
Drive out of of Sunndalsøra towards Molde on the RV62 and turn south onto the FV311, signposted for Litledalen. During winter the road is closed at Hjellen meaning routes like Tågbekken have a long approach which may be strenuous depending on snow conditions.
No access issues other than the road closing at Hjellen during winter. Safety wise almost all of the gullys are avalanche prone so extreme caution needs to be taken with snow conditions. The coastal climate also makes many of the ice routes prone to rapid fluctuations in temperature and thus unstable!
