Lärmstange is an attractive peak on the west side of the receading Hintertux glacier, reaching 2,686m. It is often remarked that it would be far more famous if it were not surrounded by higher peaks such as the Olperer. When viewed from the lift station at Sommerbergalm it is certaintly eye-catching, with the famous north ridge immediately in view.
Good topo here.
