Cosgaya has some long and sustained routes on vertical to gently overhanging terrain - success is usually a race against the growing pump! It is a great venue for climbers operating in the mid to hard grades.
From Potes, drive the CA-185 past Los Llanos and through Cosgaya. As you leave the town, there is a large car park on the right with picnic tables. Park opposite by a bus stop on a road leading up to a higher village of Cosgaya. Walk up the road and, at the first bend, carry on along a concrete track. This zig-zags back on itself by a large boulder (with a steep sport route on it). Carry on down towards the bridge over the river. A little way on the crag, a fin of limestone comes into view. Zig-zag your way up to the base.
