A convenient crag on a closed loop of road at the end of Llyn Padarn. It has two main facets, a vertical quarried yellow wall which has some popular boulder problems, and an easy single pitch slab, where you can climb off the top and don't have to abseil off. Sufficient protection on top for fixing top ropes. There's room for around 3-4 climbers on the face and grades of between Mod and VDiff.

In the field behind is a small crag under the trees containing numerours low grade bouldering problems. Access to this field can be obtained by walking towards llanberis and taking the gap in the wall to the right. The small crag is under the trees.
Parking available at Gwn-y-glo. A short walk along the old road brings up the crag on your right.

Good little crag with some decent easy routes on good rock. Great spot for family group with picnic. Route 3 in particular would be a great first trad lead Rog Wilko - 17/Jul/21 |
