For Sale - La Sportiva Xplorer Approach shoes - good condition. Grey, with yellow lacing and green trim. £40 posted or less if you're local and want to collect them (Nottingham).
There's very little wear on these shoes. They're a fair bit stiffer than the TX4 or TX5 and less padded on the shoe and sole. I guess that will make them better climbing shoes than either of those but maybe less good on approaches. They certainly look to be less of a walking show and more of a climbing shoe.
I bought these 2nd hand a few years ago but they've been languishing at the back of the cupboard since then (3 young childen has had a very negative effect on my outdoors life!). Having dug them out, I find they give me a blister on the back of the right heel. There's no deformity in the shoe and it all seems smooth so probably my feet at fault rather than the shoe. I need to clear out some shoes so these need to go.
