On 23rd June 2022, the dZi Foundation, a charity supporting community-led projects in rural Nepal, will host a special Everest Evening at the Alpine Club, London.
The event will commemorate 100 years since the first attempt on the summit of the world’s highest mountain and celebrate the contributions of indigenous climbers to both this expedition and the many hundreds that have followed.
It will bring together a large collection of Everest summiteers, including dZi patron Kenton Cool and historian Jake Norton who will be sharing stories from many of the most famous Everest expeditions.
Alongside Jake’s talk, there will also be the opportunity to hear from dZi staff currently working on the ground in Nepal, view historic Everest artefacts from the Alpine Club Collection and to take part in an auction featuring a number of rare Everest curios.
This is an event that is not to be missed by anyone with a passion for Nepal or a fascination with the history of the world’s highest mountain.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards funding dZi’s ongoing work.
