Are there any UKC users living (or who have lived) in Milan?

I am lucky enough to be in Milan for the next year or so, and I am hoping to make the most of the proximity of the mountains. On the off chance anyone that someone here is looking for a climbing/skiing/alpine partner please get in touch!

Or if anyone has any experience with the Club Alpino Italiano I would be keen to hear more. At the moment my poor Italian (I am learning, albeit slowly) and lack of medical paperwork (I think) is holding me back... even registering at a climbing wall is a non-trivial task.
