Wanted to share about a great trek I did in Bukhansan National Park last weekend.

A few mates and I started our hike at the Jeongneung trail head in the morning. Beautiful forest trails winding uphill from the start. Passed by plenty of temples and ginkgo trees along the way.

The hike took us up to Uiamsa Fortress, which was pretty cool to explore. Great views of the surrounding peaks once we got up there too. Carried on past Bukhansanseong and summited a couple peaks before dropping back down.

Wrapped up the trek at the Uidong trail head in the late afternoon, just as it was getting golden hour. Legs were jellified by that point but it was really rewarding to take in the sights of the park.

To finish off, we found a local joint near the train station serving all the Korean classics. Bibimbap, bulgogi and makgeolli - just what we needed after a long day!

Great way to spend an active weekend exploring the park. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Seoul.
